Classic Mechado
Ingredients:
- 350 grams Beef Round(cut into chunks)
- 1 pc (small)Sibuyas(sliced)
- 1 pc Bay Leaf
- 150 grams Patatas (cut into chunks)
- 5 pc Sibuyas Tagalog (peeled)
- 1 pc (medium) Red Bell Pepper (cut into strips)
- 1 pouch (200 grams) Del Monte
- Filipino Style Tomato Sauce
Cooking Methods:
- Saute onion and beef until beef is light brown. Add 1½ to 2 cups water, laurel , soy sauce and pepper to taste. Simmer until tender.
- Add DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce, sibuyas Tagalog and potatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add bell pepper.
