Tortang Monggo
Basic Ingredients
- ? cup Green Monggo (dried)
- 1 cup (100 grams) Tagunton (fresh)
- 1 cup Malunggay leaves
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 pc (medium) Onion (chopped)
- 3 pc Eggs (beaten)
- 1 pouch (115 grams) Del Monte
- Original Style Tomato Sauce
Cooking Methods
- Simmer monggo in covered pan with 1 cup water for 30 minutes. Combine un-drained monggo with remaining ingredients. Season with ? tsp iodized fine salt and ½ tsp pepper.Mix thoroughly.
- Put every 2 tbsp of mixture in hot oil. Flatten and cook until golden brown on both sides .
- Serve with DEL MONTE Ketchup or DEL MONTE Vinegar.
